Gourmet Sarawak Pte Ltd is a Singapore subsidiary of Sprint-Cass Pte Ltd. Sprint-Cass Pte Ltd was founded in 1983. With 7 stores, we are Singapore Changi Airport’s largest lifestyle electronics retailer.

We are looking for people to join our team in Singapore to run a food outlet at Changi Airport. The outlet mostly serves Sarawak Kolo Mee, Laksa, Specialty Popcorn Chicken Rice, and Sarawak-inspired drinks and snacks. We will promote Sarawak’s best to the rest of the world.

Expected Remuneration:

S$2,500-S$3,000 plus supplementary allowance $500 per month

Job Description:​

Food Preparation & Kitchen:

  • Food preparation, cooking, brewing, and drinks preparation.
  • Carry out general housekeeping and cleaning tasks. Maintain clean and sanitary food preparation areas and the outlet in compliance with Singapore safety and hygiene standards.
  • Storing and distributing ingredients.
  • Assist Kitchen-In-Charge on kitchen tasks and duties.
  • Any other duties as assigned

 

Service:

  • Responsible for manning the outlet
  • Attend to customer needs & requests in a pleasant manner
  • Provide good customer service
  • Taking orders, handle POS, and cashier functions
  • Promote menu items
  • Carry out general housekeeping and cleaning tasks. Maintain clean and sanitary food preparation areas and the outlet in compliance with Singapore safety and hygiene standards.
  • Any other duties as assigned

 

Management:

  • Maintain and manage kitchen expenses, food costs, inventory, and staffing within budget
  • Manage the crews
  • Recipe Creation
  • Kitchen management
  • Outlet management
  • Maintain foods taste standards
  • Replenishment of food supplies

 

Job Requirements:

  • Candidate with no prior F&B experience are encouraged to apply for Crews. Training will be provided on the job.
  • Candidates who apply for Captain position must have some culinary, recipe creation, and kitchen management experience.
  • Positive attitude, maturity, nice and cheerful personality.
  • Strong team player who works well in a fast-paced workplace.
  • Candidates who are successful must take a Basic Food Hygiene Course. The course will be sponsored by the company.
  • Able to accept split shift.
  • Minimum Qualification Level: “O” Level, SPM or an equivalent
  • Must be fluent in either English or Chinese.

 

Work Location & Conditions​

  • Work Location: Kopitiam Food Court at Terminal 4, Changi Airport, Singapore
  • Outlet Operating Hours: 5am to 11pm daily
  • Working Hours: Shift duty between 4:30am to 11:30pm. The number of working hours and rest day will be governed by Singapore’s labor laws.
  • Those who arrive at work before 7am and leave after 11pm will be provided with transportation. Own transportation arrangement for persons living outside of Singapore, such as in Johor Bahru.
